20+ Years in Tech & Federal Programs

20+ YEARS. ONE THROUGH LINE.

From federal programs to hypergrowth IPO’s

My career has always lived at the intersection of people, process, and technology — across three distinct environments, each one sharpening a different set of instincts.

CHAPTER ONE

Federal Defense & Space Programs

NASA · US Air Force · US Navy · Booz Allen

I built my foundation in some of the most complex, high-stakes operational environments in the world. Defense-grade program rigor, billion-dollar budget management, and accountability structures that don't have margin for failure — these shaped how I think about every engagement I take on today.

CHAPTER TWO

Hypergrowth Tech & IPO Scale

Twilio · RapidAPI · Google Extended Work Force

Moving into hypergrowth tech, I led operations through the kind of scaling pressure that breaks most infrastructure. As Chief of Staff at Twilio, I worked at the intersection of engineering, product, and business leadership — translating complexity into clarity at the speed startups actually move.

CHAPTER THREE

Enterprise Digital Transformation

Divisions Maintenance Group · EmmeKaye Consulting

Leading full digital transformations across multi-product, multi-stakeholder organizations taught me that the biggest obstacle to change is rarely technical. It's organizational. Understanding both — and bridging them — is what I bring to every client engagement today.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK

Traveler. Athlete. Lifelong Learner.

Credentials tell you what I've done. These tell you how I think.

Wired to Compete, Wired to Improve

As a college basketball player, I learned early that the gap between a good team and a great one rarely comes down to raw talent. It's discipline, communication, and how well you execute when it counts. That same belief drives everything I do at EmmeKaye Consulting. I don't just identify what's broken — I work alongside your team to build the systems, structures, and habits that make high performance sustainable.

A Global Perspective, Applied With Care

I'm an explorer at heart, endlessly curious about culture, language, and the beautifully different ways people solve the same problems. Two decades of working across federal agencies, hypergrowth startups, and enterprise tech companies has only deepened what travel taught me first: the best solutions come from genuinely understanding the people inside a system — not just the system itself. That's why every engagement starts with listening, not prescribing.

Education as a Way of Life

The credential I return to most is curiosity — the genuine desire to keep learning even when you're the most experienced person in the room. It's what keeps my thinking current, my approaches fresh, and my clients a step ahead. I've also built hands-on fluency with AWS services and AI tools through years of on-the-job experience, because the best way to lead technical teams is to genuinely understand the technology they work with.

From the Capital City to the California Coast

I grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, where complexity isn't just a feature of government — it's the air everyone breathes. That early immersion in systems thinking, accountability, and high-stakes decision-making shaped how I see every challenge I take on. These days I'm happily rooted in San Diego with my partner and our two dogs, where the sun is reliable and the beach is close, but the problems I love solving are just as rich and demanding as ever.

THE THROUGH LINE

"Most organizations don't have an operational friction problem at their core. They have a clarity problem."

From Federal Defense and Space Programs to Hypergrowth Tech IPOs to Enterprise Digital Transformation, my career has always lived at the intersection of people, process, and technology. EmmeKaye Consulting exists because most organizations don't have an operational friction problem at their core — they have a clarity problem.
